How do I reset Liftmaster Garage Door Controller to new router or password? Print

1) Press and hold the rectangular button between the arrows on the back of the Liftmaster motor for ten seconds, until you hear three beeps.

2) Press the round yellow button three times in a row (should hear one beep and rectangular button should turn blue).

3) In your mobile device network WiFi settings, connect to your Liftmaster MyQ device (should be named MyQ-XXX).

4) In Google Chrome or other browser's address bar (not search bar), type in http://setup.myqdevice.com

5) Follow instructions on this page to add router's WiFi information (rectangular button should turn solid green once connected).

6) Open and close garage door completely.
