How Do I Reset New Router or Password Info in The Alarm.com Doorbell
- Press and hold the doorbell button until flashing white then release (this can take up to 15-20 seconds).
- Using you mobile device, tablet, or computer, go to your Wi-Fi network connections and select ADC-VDB770 (XX:YY:ZZ).
- On the same device, open a web browser (chrome) and enter http://vdb770install in the web address field.
- Make sure chime type “mechanical” is selected and click save. Below, select scan for networks. Find your Wi-Fi name and enter your password. Verify the LED turns solid green, indicating the connection is complete
If Doorbell Camera has been removed from your account (no longer shows up in app), follow steps 5 and 6:
On your app select “video” in the menu tab. Click the settings gear in the top right corner, and click “Add Video Device.” Select your doorbell camera and follow the steps to include device.
- Once added to your account make sure recording rules are turned on and set correctly.
Optional: High Dynamic Range (HDR), which allows image brightness to auto adjust to ambient lighting, will default off.
- To turn this on login to your alarm.com website and select "video" in the menu tab.
- Click "settings" then "video device image" and check the HDR checkbox.
- Save your settings.
